1. About us

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the luggage storage service provided by Kings Cross Luggages, trading from 11 Euston Road, London NW1 2SA, United Kingdom. Contact: kingscrossluggages@gmail.com  |  020 7833 3233.

By making a booking or depositing luggage with us, you agree to be bound by these terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. The service

We provide short and long-term luggage storage at our premises at 11 Euston Road, London NW1 2SA. Our facility is staffed and CCTV-monitored. We are open every day from 09:00–19:00, including weekends and bank holidays, unless otherwise notified.

We reserve the right to refuse storage of any item at our discretion, in particular items listed under clause 6 below.

3. Booking and payment

3.1 Bookings may be made online via our website or in person at our premises (walk-ins welcome, subject to availability).

3.2 The storage fee is £5 per bag, per day. A "day" means any calendar day or part thereof within your booked period.

3.3 Payment is taken in full at the time of booking by credit or debit card. We do not accept cash. All online payments are processed securely via Stripe and are subject to Stripe’s own terms of service.

3.4 A booking confirmation will be sent to the email address you provide. Please present this (on paper or on your device) when you drop off your bags.

3.5 Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

4. Drop-off and collection

4.1 You must drop off and collect your bags within our opening hours (09:00–19:00). We cannot arrange access outside these hours.

4.2 On drop-off, your bags will be sealed and tagged. Please retain your receipt or booking reference for collection.

4.3 We will release bags only to the person named on the booking, or to someone presenting the booking confirmation. We may ask for proof of identity.

4.4 If you are unable to collect by 19:00 on your booked collection date, please contact us as soon as possible. Bags left beyond your booked period will incur an additional charge of £5 per bag per day and will be held for a maximum of 30 days. After 30 days, uncollected items may be disposed of or donated to charity.

5. Cancellations and refunds

5.1 You may cancel your booking and receive a full refund if you notify us at least 24 hours before your booked drop-off time by emailing kingscrossluggages@gmail.com or calling 020 7833 3233.

5.2 Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the booked drop-off time, or after bags have been deposited, are non-refundable.

5.3 If you collect your bags earlier than your booked collection date, no partial refund will be issued for unused days.

5.4 These cancellation terms do not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

6. Prohibited items

The following items must not be deposited with us under any circumstances:

• Flammable, explosive, or hazardous materials
• Illegal substances or counterfeit goods
• Firearms, weapons, or ammunition
• Perishable food or beverages
• Live animals
• Cash, financial instruments, or valuables exceeding £500 in value
• Fragile or irreplaceable items (antiques, art, heirlooms)

By handing over your bags, you confirm they do not contain any of the above. We reserve the right to refuse or remove any item we reasonably believe falls within this list.

7. Our liability

7.1 We take reasonable care of all items deposited with us. Our facility is staffed during opening hours and monitored by CCTV.

7.2 In the event of loss or damage caused by our negligence, our liability is limited to a maximum of £100 per bag, unless you have declared a higher value in writing at the time of drop-off and we have agreed in writing to accept that higher liability.

7.3 We are not liable for loss or damage caused by: the inherent nature of the items stored; events outside our reasonable control (including fire, flood, or theft by forced entry); items falling within the prohibited list in clause 6; or your failure to collect within the permitted period.

7.4 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7.5 These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

8. Your responsibilities

8.1 You are responsible for ensuring that your bags are properly packed and sealed before drop-off.

8.2 You must provide accurate contact details at the time of booking.

8.3 You must not deposit items on behalf of unknown third parties.

8.4 You agree that you are the lawful owner of, or have authority to deposit, all items presented.

9. Data protection

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). By making a booking, you consent to this processing as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version displayed on this page at the time of your booking will apply to that booking. We recommend you review this page before each booking.
